
2020 Accomplishments for RFOWC

Community Grants
In 2020, our foundation awarded over $12,000 to five local housing non-profit organizations: Oak City Cares, Hope Center at Pullen, The Green Chair Project, Inter-Faith Food Shuttle, USO Project, and Shepard's Table Soup Kitchen.

COOLING WAKE
Despite COVID, your foundation was able to supply 20 AC units to those medically fragile during our hottest months. To date, 231 units have been supplied to our local community.
Community Outreach Funding
This year we increased our donations by 50% from last year. The need was great in our community, RFOWC provided over $17,500 to many of our local non-profits to help those who needed it most. Some of the funds were used to by household supplies during COVID.
Project Angel Tree
This year Project Angel Tree looked a little different. We asked members to either text or visit our website to make a donation and Gardian ad Litem shopped for holiday gifts. Our generous donors gave over $15,000 which provided gifts for 86 children.
Donations
The REALTOR® Foundation of Wake County used Facebook to reach our members this year. The need was great and our REALTORS® opened up their hearts, 429 donors gave almost $116,000!
Facebook donations increased 517% from last year with social donors giving $8,900.
